In December 1970 Beaver Land Company donated one hundred acres of choice property to the City of Beckley for a recreatonal facility.  Today Fitzpatric Park is managed by Raleigh County Parks and Recreation and boasts 4 balfields, concession stand, playground, picinc area and a fantastic fishing pond perfect for catching bass, sunfish or trout.  Most recently they were excited to announce becoming the home field for WVU Tech Girls Softball.
